Are you deeply ingrained in Media solution sales, or possibly working inside a Media or ad agency, Suomessa? Are you hungry and motivated by commissions, eager to sell to small/medium sized news and magazine companies, or maybe bigger ones if you have what it takes? If you want to work from home (a possibility, if you prove your case well enough), or even if you can convince us that you should be a Freelancer instead, sell us! Show us you're independent, commission motivated, and almost always the smartest person in the room, and we'll show you the money.



Conmio is a Helsinki and NYC based decade old/young mobile services software company, focusing on rich user experiences and responsive design software solutions. We partner with and engage global media companies, and retail/brands worldwide who want to deliver their content and services expressively and creatively, with a smooth UX and quality design, gracefully across all mobile platforms and devices. We have an unconventional start-up feel, yet we have big 5 Media companies as customers in NYC, Finland and Latin America, already. We are expanding! And need you to help us do it.

Your mission, is to SELL, and NETWORK, and SELL some more. You will work with the biggest Media companies in Finland, along with our sales and design/development teams in our Helsinki office. You will call on Media companies of all sizes, introducing them to our packaged solutions, and piggy-backing on our brilliant UX and UI Concept Designers when their wisdom can help you close a deal (and with their demo making abilities). Most Media companies are using old digital replica techniques, but our technology and products are unique in that they provide all encompassing/engaging solutions for services on any device or platform. And the word around town (from critics and the media) is that our HTML5 framework is the "smoothest" on the market!

You have no problem starting from scratch, or you can use your hefty network to close some warm leads. Our current clients you may have heard of (MTV3, Alma Media, Talentum, NY Times, Bloomberg, Gannett, the Discovery Channel etc.) so we know how to work and play with the big guns. If you know those guys, terrific. If you know others, even better! The point is, we want you to show us your arsenal of contacts where you have already made a trusting impact. There are loads of competitors (and even internal corporate UX/UI design and developers), so this is about exposure, clever branding, and getting our message out that our approach is new, fresh, and 'about freaking time'.

Our latest product allows companies to propel their ad-based rich media on every device, actually utilizing the full potential of that device. I.e., videos, sharing/commenting, full retina graphics, which is impossible with the old digital replica style. This current and soon outdated approach just doesn't generate new revenue, which our customers are recognizing slowly, but surely. With our solution, you can have different creative ads, attracting NEW USERS, where you can actually upsell for a change. We see a huge market of people who don't want to read a digital newspaper, rather they want to have a real EXPERIENCE. This segment is who you will help our customers target.



Desired Skills and Experience
So, in a nutshell, your profile is this:

5+ years of sales experience in Media companies, or to Media companies, be it software, solutions, mobile services, or subscriptions. Ok, no, not magazine sales subscriptions (sorry)
Experience with software solutions of some kind, in a digital world
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
Existing network at digital decision maker level in Media and Services Industries
Successful sales of internet and mobile projects, and/or applications to Media and Services companies
Impeccable communication skills, in English and Finnish (ideally)
You crack yourself up, and aren't afraid to approach everyone! Work it!
